Questions?
Here are some of the most common questions I get about working together.
If you don’t see your question listed, contact me.

I am licensed to provide online therapy services to clients located across Pennsylvania (PS020206), California (PSY34037) and PSYPACT-eligible states. Additionally, I offer in person appointments and serve the Main Line and Greater Philadelphia area from my office in Berwyn. My office is conveniently located off of Route 202 and close to Route 76 and Route 422. Berwyn is adjacent to King of Prussia and Wayne. There is ample free parking available on site for your visit.

Online therapy is the perfect fit for those who prefer the added convenience of meeting from the comfort of their home and skipping the hassle of trying to figure out traffic/parking. Every online appointment (also known as telehealth) is hosted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to ensure confidentiality during our meetings.

Fees vary depending on the type and length of the appointment. My fees are consistent with other doctoral-level psychologists with similar training and expertise. We will go over session fees during the initial consultation call.

Please note that I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not accept insurance directly since I don't want our work to be mandated and restricted by insurance companies.
Most insurance policies offer out-of-network benefits which are usually pretty straightforward to use. I will offer you a detailed receipt (also known as a Superbill) so you can file directly with your insurance provider to receive possible partial reimbursement. Insurance companies reimburse between 50-80% of the session cost after you meet your deductible. I highly encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to ask about your plan’s specific benefits.
I have also partnered with Thrizer to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. I’m also happy to chat further about this with you and help you run your insurance to find out about your benefits and remaining deductible during our consultation call.

A credit/debit card is required to be kept on file and I accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Payment is made automatically from the online portal through a secure payment system at the end of our session.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
While it is not possible for me to know, in advance, how many sessions may be appropriate for your or your child’s care, the notice will provide an estimate of the cost of services provided. Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of sessions you attend and the type of services provided.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For further questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

It’s very easy to schedule a free 15-minute consultation phone call by clicking the button on this page. Alternatively, you can reach out to me via email at hello@drayeshaludhani.com or by phone/text to (484) 222-0281.
During the initial consultation call I answer questions you might have about therapy with me and ask about your or your child’s presenting concerns to help me determine if I am the right fit for your needs. This time is also a good opportunity for you to get a sense of my personality. If you wish to move forward, we would schedule our first appointment.

Prior to our first appointment, I’ll send you some paperwork to fill out online via a secure client portal. During our first meeting together, we will review the paperwork together. The first 3-4 appointments are considered an intake or assessment period and involve learning your history and current presenting concerns. At the end of this assessment period, I will summarize what I have learned to ensure understanding of the current problems, share how I can help, and then work collaboratively with you to come up with treatment goals and an actionable plan.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and take place once per week. It is difficult to determine how long therapy could take as it depends on each person’s unique needs and goals. I offer both long-term and short-term therapy and check-in with you regularly to monitor progress and discuss your evolving needs. My goal is to help you build insight and internalize skills in order to foster autonomy.
