MEET DR. AYESHA LUDHANI | ANXIETY THERAPIST IN BERWYN, PA
ONLINE ACROSS PA, CA, and PSYPACT-eligible states

A place where you and your child can discover your true potential and embrace who you really are.

You’re here because feeling “stuck” and overwhelmed has become the norm.

The reality is, things just aren’t easy right now—as a parent, in your personal life, or with work. It’s hard to know how to help yourself and it feels frustrating that the typical things you’ve done in the past aren’t working for you anymore. Anxiety or OCD keeps getting in the way and it makes it difficult to move forward, even just through the day. You’re ready—and actively looking—for some sort of answers or direction to help you and your child really feel a difference.

Hi, I’m Dr. Ayesha.

I believe in therapy that puts you first.

What does that mean? I’m always going to meet you where you are and move at your pace. I’ll listen to all the things you’re feeling and take the time required to understand who you really are beyond just your challenges. Change often happens when we dig beneath the surface, and we’ll take the time to do that so you can experience genuine, long-lasting change in your life.

With children and teens, it means I’m going to help them feel at ease, supported, and understood in age-appropriate ways. I’ll help them recognize that while what they’re going through isn’t easy, there are ways to cope and move forward, ultimately allowing them to realize the potential you know is there. The truth is, they have people around—like you—who love them and want them to succeed, and I’m a part of that system.

As your therapist, I’ll take the time to look at things from your perspective—after all, you are the expert on your life. Sessions with me are honest, thoughtful, and inviting—because the last thing you need in your life is for therapy to feel like another place you have to “put on a face.” I do the deep work necessary to get to know the real you while bringing my own experience and expertise in treating anxiety and OCD.

I work with clients who…

  • Are in high-pressure careers or academic settings

  • Have high standards for themselves and others

  • Often put others’ needs before their own

  • Struggle with balancing all of their responsibilities

  • Tend to compare themselves to others

  • Believe they have it within themselves to feel better, but aren’t sure how

You don’t have to feel guilty or ashamed for what’s happening to you or how you’re reacting.

I’m here to help you.

My Methods

As an expert in parenting, anxiety, and OCD, I’m trained in a variety of evidence-based methods to help you experience real relief.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP helps take on OCD and anxiety by gradually facing fears without giving in to the usual compulsive behaviors. This type of therapy teaches you to manage your anxiety and grow stronger through facing challenges head-on.

Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)

SPACE focuses on helping parents support their anxious kids in a straightforward, healthy way. Instead of accommodating the anxiety, parents learn how to support their children in ways that ultimately encourage them to confront their fears. This method builds kids' confidence and helps them develop the skills they need to handle anxiety better.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps children, teens, and adults with anxiety or OCD to change negative thought patterns and behaviors. By learning to challenge irrational thoughts and develop positive coping skills, you can improve your emotional health and navigate life's ups and downs in a more healthy way.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is about accepting your thoughts and feelings while committing to actions that reflect your values. This therapy can be a breath of fresh air, teaching mindfulness and helping them focus on what's truly important, which eases anxiety and leads to a more balanced life.
